Covid-19: 35 dead, 2635 sick, 521 in 24 hours recover
Thirty-five people have died in the last 24 hours from coronavirus infections, the Health Services Directorate-General (DGHS) said today.
The death toll now stands at 846, said Dr Nasima Sultana, DGHS ‘s additional general director (administration) during a briefing.
In the last 24 hours two thousand six hundred and thirty-five people tested positive for Covid-19. With this, the cumulative number of those infected is 63,026.
A total of 12,486 samples were tested in 50 labs across the country in the last 24 hours, Dr Nasima said.
Meanwhile, 521 Covid-19 patients have recovered since yesterday, taking the total number of recoveries to 13,325, the DGHS official added.
